It's hard to come back. You let your social media accounts collect dust for a minute and people forget about you. All of that momentum you once built has to step up its game again.
It's easy at this point to throw in the towel. To give up. To assume it won't work out. But, I'm not a quitter. I'm a relentless dreamer.
New social media accounts are all setup. You can check us out on twitter or instagram under the abbreviated name: OurxProd
I move a lot. I grew up in southern california where I formed my first theatre group. We created together. We learned together. I moved to Idaho for a year where I met new people, cleared my head and cranked out more work. Then I moved to New York, where the focus was getting work on the stage. Met lots of talented people who pushed me to be better. I learned an incredible amount from them and from that city.
Now I'm back in Idaho. I've been clearing my head for the past year and a half. And writing. A lot. I've completed two full-length plays, 1 short play and I am half-way done with another full-length play. It's easy to write here. In this place without distractions. And now, as I get my head out of the zen writing period and back into the producing period, it's time to have a game plan and move quickly and aggressively, and most of all, hope that I will find my circle of support once again.
I have faith that it will happen. It will always happen as long as you have a dream and a plan and the persistence to marry the two. Thanks for tuning in. More diaries of production to come!
